OMG! It’s a term?
the past few weeks, i have this term in my mind: adventure medicine. it came to me because the way things are going, my career seems to be going down that path. i only know 2 doctors whose careers could qualify as “adventure medicine.” however, i do not recall of a chapter or even a section in my medical books on such subject.
it was after discussing with mae - a blogger-friend from the states - that what i had in mind was verbalized. she also called it adventure medicine. while we were concluding a phone conversation just some 5 minutes ago, i was telling her i like that term. she said, “it’s what we call it here.”
“you mean it’s a term?”
“yeah!”
OMG. really?
so i googled it…
LOL! Indeed it is…
I wish you the very best with this new ‘adventure’- it is interesting that it is a totally unexplored field in the Phils, so you have sort of a headstart; something great going there for you!

hey, how about this: i know of doctors who write, but i actually saw a site with articles on media medicine and its legal aspects… exploring the non-traditional medical fields is so fascinating!..
