i was going through my usual morning routine of browsing through my email, then yahoogroups, then friendster, other websites, and then finally, yahoo. most of the time i don’t check the yahoo top searches, but today, i did. and today, it’s about top searches for tv themes. guess what’s number one???

A theme song can make or break a show. Sure, some succeed in spite of terrible tunes (Seinfeld) or nonsensical lyrics (Laverne and Shirley), but for the masses, a catchy intro is as important as a live studio audience. Because we’ve had the Magnum, P.I. theme stuck in our heads going on 72 hours, we decided to seek out other popular TV themes, hoping that something new might stick in our brains for a while. We love ya, Magnum, but enough is enough.
